How is Mezmo Telemetry Pipeline priced?
Pipeline pricing is based on egress data quantity measured in GB after transformation and reduction.
Is there a limit to the volume during the trial period?
Through the 14-day trial, there is no limit on data being ingested. Mezmo charges based on egress. Egress is data being sent from pipeline to downstream systems.
If I am an existing customer, will I gain access to a trial of Mezmo’s Telemetry Pipeline? How long will the trial last?
Existing customers will have access to a 14-day trial license. The trial for existing customers will have the same functionality as all other Free Trial customers.
How does pipeline differ in terms of the data handling versus what I’m used to in Log MANAGEMENT?
Pipeline by design offers full control over your data. This means there are no assumptions in parsing the data like Log Analysis does.
Pipeline provides full data control and flexibility with transformations and intelligent routing to get the right telemetery data to the right pdestination(s).
Can Log MANAGEMENT be a Pipeline Destination?
Yes. However, there are some details to pay attention to for trial participants. Please contact support to discuss your deployment requirements.
Can Pipeline process unstructured data that does not follow a common convention?
Data can be sent through multiple processors for transformations and then sent to multiple destinations or conditionally routed using metadata.
What if I exceed my Free Trial user and/or data volume limits
No need to be concerned as during the Trial period, there are no limits to the amount of data you can ingest into the Mezmo pipeline to be sent to the destination of your choice.
What happens after my trial ends?
After your 14-day trial period ends, your account will be automatically downgraded into a community edition which is a free forever pipeline plan but with the following limitations;
A community plan is restricted to a single user per account. A community plan is limited to 10 GB of Ingest and Egress per month. Once you reach the limit, your pipelines will be suspended and the ingestion will be blocked.
Does the pipeline have a way to retain data that has been processed?
The Telemetry Pipeline is not the end destination of data, but allows the transformation and intelligent routing to data stores such as Datadog, Splunk, AWS S3, etc.
What is the difference between the free-trial and community offerings?
Currently there is “Contract, Trial, and Community”. Trials are limited to 14 days, with the full feature set.
Community version has limited features and has limits in terms of the total data processed per month (10GB/mo)
What happens to my data and customization if we decide to move to a free plan?
Pipelines will remain intact but put into a suspended state. You will need to re-enable the pipeline for it to start sending data. You will need to re-enable the pipeline for it to start sending data.
In the Community plan, you will get one active user per account and an ingress and egress limit of 10GB a day.

Do you offer a free trial?
Yes, we offer a fully-featured 14-day free trial for new accounts.
What if I exceed my user limit?
Contact support and we’ll work with you to find a solution.
What happens after my trial?
Your account switches to our limited free plan and your stored logs are deleted.
How can I know what my bill will be if I don’t know my logging volume?
We only charge you for what you use. We don’t have data caps or volume limits.
How can you offer unlimited ingestion on your free plan?
The free plan offers unlimited Live Tail for real-time logging, but does not come with any storage retention. To store your logs, sign up for any of our paid plans.
What does retention mean?
Retention refers to the number of days that we store your log data. To store data beyond your retention period, we offer integrations that automatically archive your data to an external source.
Do all plans have all features?
All paid self service plans have the same features except for the duration your logs are retained. For enterprise features like Kubernetes Enrichment, Enterprise Organization Management and Variable Retention, request a demo with our solutions team.
What if I switch my plan in the middle of the month?
You will be billed for your pro-rated usage up to the end of the previous day UTC. The billing period for your new plan starts from the beginning of the current day UTC.
Where can I find how much I’ve logged?
In the Mezmo log viewer you can find your usage in GBs at the bottom left. There is also a detailed breakdown of your usage on the Dashboard.
How granular is your billing rate?
We will bill you down to the MB, so 10.416 GB on our 14-day retention plan ($1.30/GB) is $13.54 per month.
