A New Chapter

LogDNA is now Mezmo but the product you know and love is here to stay.

Today is an exciting day for LogDNA! I have two wonderful announcements to make.

First, we’ve officially announced that LogDNA has closed a $25 million series C round led by Emergence Capital. Second, and most importantly, I’m thrilled to share that Tucker Callaway, LogDNA’s current President and Chief Revenue Officer, is transitioning into a new role as the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

This decision was not made in haste, I put a lot of thought into what’s best for the company, and how best to maximize our success. I believe Tucker as the CEO, with me supporting him in my new role as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), will result in the greatest outcome for the company!

Having worked closely with Tucker over the last six months, we know that he has the experience, skillset, and passion to lead LogDNA to great heights. My co-founder Lee Liu, the Board of Directors, the LogDNA family, and I are all super excited to have Tucker take the torch as CEO as we embark on the next chapter of our journey. I look forward to focusing my energy and passion as CSO, overseeing all product partnerships and business development initiatives.

As we both transition into our new roles, I’m excited and energized for the future of LogDNA! Excelsior!

- Chris

It’s only appropriate that in my first communication as CEO I start with a huge thank you to our founders Chris Nguyen and Lee Liu. It is a great honor to have the opportunity to lead the company that they founded in the next chapter. Their dedication and passion are reflected in every aspect of the business, from our culture to our customer commitment, and as employees, we’re extremely fortunate to have a solid foundation to build on.

Although this marks the beginning of a new chapter for LogDNA, it’s not a new book. The characters and the plot are the same, with a renewed focus on our individual passions and strengths. We’re grateful to have Chris focused on growing strategic partnerships and nurturing our culture and to have Lee continuing to innovate as CTO. I’ll add a few adventures to the plot in my new role as we continue on our mission.

As we look forward, we’re laser-focused on the success of our customers and meeting the market’s demand at the intersection of enterprise DevOps and log management. As our customers modernize their architectures and workflows, we will continue to deliver solutions that give them control of their data and allow them to derive value from their logs.

As a company, we have an opportunity to transform the way that our customers work, improve the world around us, and have fun along the way. I’m looking to the LogDNA team, our customers, and the community to hold me accountable for all three!

I am incredibly proud of our team, inspired by our accomplishments to date and excited for the work that has yet to be done. Let’s go!

- Tucker
