We’re happy to announce that forwarding your Aptible logs to LogDNA's log management system is much simpler than before. Aptible Enclave is a container orchestration platform built for developers that automates security best practices and controls needed for deploying and scaling Dockerized apps in regulated industries.

Previously, we supported customers who set up a Syslog Drain but we were aware of the difficulties. So now for our Aptible customers we’re pleased to announce a new LogDNA HTTPS POST endpoint which is dedicated for Aptible logs.

You can easily set up a new log drain with these three steps:

  1. Select Create Log Drain to create new drain on Aptible Enclave
  2. Select LogDNA in Guided Setup section
  3. Set URL to https://logs.logdna.com/aptible/ingest/<logdna ingestion="" key=""></logdna>

We have also added the ability to override hostname, app name, and add tags to the logs. Check out the documentation for more details.

You can grab a LogDNA Ingestion Key by creating a free account. If you already have an account, your Ingestion Key can be found by logging into the dashboard, under "Add a Source". LogDNA will happily sign a BAA for your HIPAA Compliant logging needs, please contact us.
