LogDNA is now Mezmo but the product you know and love is here to stay.

When you start a company - or a third company as is the case for Lee and me - you start with a problem statement, a product you believe in, and a lot of hope. This means when growth goes as planned or exceeds expectations, you shouldn’t be surprised. This is what is supposed to happen.

Great Product + Market Opportunity + Great Team = Successful Business.

Intellectually, I know all this, but it is still exciting to see it come to fruition in this milestone.

Today, we announced that in the 12 months ending June 2019 we achieved 300% year-over-year revenue growth. Wow! It’s incredible to write this and know that while it is impressive, it’s only a milestone.

So, how did we get to this point? First, it’s the company you keep. My co-founder and business partner Lee Liu is brilliant. Anyone who has met him can’t help but be blown away. In turn, Lee and I have strived to build a team that’s equal parts open, passionate and experts in their field. I’ll talk about this a lot more in a future post.

Next, it’s the technology. Again, coming back to the work of a great technical team coupled with partnerships and sales efforts. The business side of the operation shines when it comes to translating market opportunity into selling motions.

We’ve also been fortunate to have had customers who initially took a chance on our startup and quickly scaled their use of LogDNA as we proved our value. That’s how it’s supposed to work, but it’s great when you get to see it happen before your eyes.

As happy as I am now, I am more excited about the next 12 months and beyond. We’ve recently added Kris Bondi, formerly of Bitnami and Iron.io, as our Chief Marketing Officer, to our team. Kris will lead the charge to help LogDNA become well-known within the Kubernetes community and the DevOps teams of our customers. As others join the team in areas where they are experts, we’ll see our ramp of revenue and adoption accelerate even more.

So, here’s the pitch to you. If you want to join our journey, reach out. We love talking with passionate, smart people.
